The Skutt FireBox 8×6 with Mini Touchscreen is a great starter kiln for the artist who wishes to work in a variety of materials – this powerful little kiln can easily fire your glass and PMC projects, but can also get hot enough to fire mid-range ceramics, as it can go all the way up to cone 6. The FireBox 8×6 is operated with an easy-to-use Mini Touchscreen Controller. From beginners to advanced artists, this compact kiln can travel with you and can plug into any standard 120-volt household outlet. The FireBox 8×6 can heat up to glass-fusing temperature in less than 20 minutes – which means that you can make beautiful projects in record time!

This kiln comes with everything you need, including a kiln furniture kit, which comes with one 7″ x 7″ shelf, three 1″ posts (so you can maximize efficiency of the space inside the kiln), and a 1-lb. bag of kiln wash.
